Student Admissions
There are three ways to join St. Joseph of Nazareth High School. Choose the one that fits your child, apply online, and follow the application here until the first day of school.

Each way in has its own form. The documents asked for are listed under each one, so you can have them ready before you start.
Senior 1
Your child starts the four year O Level course in Senior 1 and sits UCE in Senior 4.

Senior 5
From Jonahs or another school. Your child takes an A Level subject combination for two years and sits UACE in Senior 6.

Transfer
For students already in secondary school elsewhere. Places depend on space in the class, so call the office first to ask if one is free. We do not take transfers into Senior 4 or Senior 6.

Use an email address you check often. The application reference, the offer and the student portal sign-in all go to that email.
The steps are the same for Senior 1, Senior 5 and transfers.

Every child at Jonahs has their own School Pay code. It is given when a place is offered and stays the same until they finish school. All fees are paid with it.
- MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money: choose School Pay in the menu and enter the code.
- Any bank: give the code at the counter and say it is for St. Joseph of Nazareth HS.
- School Pay app: pay by card or wallet with the same code.
- Receipts: every payment shows in the student portal with a receipt you can print.
Only pay with your child's School Pay code. If anyone asks you to send school fees to a personal phone number, call the school office first.
Ten digits, one per child. You will see your child's own code on the application status page once a place is offered.
The full fees list for each class is given in the student portal after the place is confirmed.
The student portal
Once the registration fee is paid, parents and students can sign in with the parent email and the child's School Pay code.

- Messages: notices from the school in one place.
Not sure which form?
Just sat PLE: Senior 1. Just sat UCE: Senior 5. Moving from another school into Senior 2 or 3: transfer.
Prefer paper?
Collect a form from the school office at Kavule-Katende, Mpigi. It goes into the same system within 2 working days.
